Data Management Analyst (Nightshift)

Job Overview

Data Management Analysts are primarily responsible for leading the Data workstream within the AGS Implementation process. In addition, Data Management Analysts are responsible for all VMS loads that have financial impacts to AGS (Job Title, Rate, and Worker Modifications). The Data Management Analyst is responsible for gathering and validating incumbent worker/project/rate data from a variety of sources, analyzing, resolving data gaps, quality checking data, transforming data, and uploading it into a VMS. 

The Data Management Analyst represents the Data Management workstream on internal and external status calls and updates the project team and client on issue resolution, workstream status, or roadblocks. Data Management Analysts also assess potential risks to both the organization and the project as part of the workstream. 

Analysts participate in quality checking/auditing of peer data loads and assist/mentor Data Management Associates as part of their training. Analysts are expected to work on various projects other than implementations, including audits, Job Title/Rate/Worker modifications, data quality/mapping updates, and other general team projects. Analysts are expected to support projects without assistance and work on multiple projects simultaneously. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead workstream to collect, organize, and validate data using a proprietary AGS data collection tool 
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including Client, Supplier, and Internal 
  • Analyze and interpret large amounts of data 
  • Assess and recommend data collection, validation, and data load strategies for each project 
  • Follow up on outstanding data from outside suppliers 
  • Implement procedures related to secure and efficient handling and sharing of data 
  • Perform analysis to assess the quality of data and check for gaps and/or errors in large datasets; work to resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Execute ETL process to scrub final data sets, build upload templates, and upload data into VMS 
  • Perform quality audits of peer and/or team data sets 
  • Attend and actively participate in all assigned project meetings; communicate project status on weekly client-facing calls 
  • Partner with various workstream owners to execute required deliverables and remove roadblocks 
  • Lead workstream-specific calls around data discovery or data validation with the client or supplier 
  • Prepare summaries of data collection status for team updates 
  • Follow established project schedule and adhere to deadlines; escalate when deadlines will be missed 
  • Act as VMS SME to identify risk or efficiency improvements when loading worker, project, or rate data 
  • Pull rate downloads from VMS system for auditing and configuration analysis 
  • Perform rate audits and system configuration checks 
  • Build reports in VMS system 
  • Facilitate data quality/mapping checks for data warehouse and liaise with other teams for updates and corrections 
  • Provide support on various Data Management project initiatives 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and organize large datasets from multiple sources 
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment spanning multiple time zones 
  • Ensure standards are applied to programs and exceptions are documented 
  • Responsible for data quality and implementing processes that drive efficiency and support data governance 
  • Build relationships both internally and externally 
  • Provide technical support, mentoring, and training to less‑senior analysts 
  • Recommend enhancements or improvements to processes for the Data Management Manager 
  • Meet standards for efficiency, data quality, and timeliness 
  • Maintain process documentation of activities and services
