Project Manager
Full-time AssociateJob Overview
This role will support an ambitious multi-country, multi-million-dollar project to be implemented in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Senegal, and Ghana. The project aims to accelerate the uptake and use of lifesaving tools for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of pre-eclampsia and maternal anaemia, which are amongst the two major contributors to maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality in low-resource settings. To achieve this, the project will generate evidence on the feasibility and acceptability of enhanced models of care for pre-eclampsia and maternal anaemia using new and underutilised products, support community demand and engagement, address systemic barriers to ensure availability of key products, and work to ensure uptake and scale within the focus countries, regionally and globally.
Reporting to the Country Manager (Malawi Country Office), the Project Manager will provide strategic and managerial leadership for all project activities in Malawi, working closely with Consortium partners to guide the strategic design, implementation, and scale-up of lifesaving products and models of care for managing pre-eclampsia (PE) and maternal anaemia (MA), including leading community engagement and demand generation activities.
