About the role

The Prep Cook supports the Kitchen Manager in all kitchen operations. This role ensures excellence

in food preparation, maintaining the highest quality standards set by the Director of

Culinary.

What you'll do

Participate in duties of food preparation.

Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

Ensure food preparation quality by upholding company recipes.

Support kitchen equipment cleaning and maintenance utilizing daily checklists.

Wash dishes as needed.

Participate in food prep for special events, including off-site catering.

Foster passion, engagement, and a positive team culture.

Receive and apply feedback effectively, demonstrating adaptability.

Build strong interpersonal connections with team members of all skill levels.

Foster an inclusive, high-quality team culture through effective communication.

Qualifications

Restaurant kitchen experience required.

Food handler certification.

Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations.

Availability for nights and weekends.

Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and open to feedback.

Ability to stand for extended periods (~8 hours per shift)


Must either have a valid Food Handler’s certificate or be willing to take the test to receive one
