Part-Time Spanish-Speaking Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient encounters, medical histories, assessments, and treatment plans in real time.
• Assist in preparing charts, updating patient records, and entering clinical notes.
• Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and team members in Spanish and English.
• Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Support physicians with administrative tasks, follow-ups, and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide general virtual assistant support as needed.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency required (both written & spoken).
• Experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, or similar clinical support role.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and fast, accurate typing skills.
• Prior experience with EHR/EMR systems is a plus (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks).
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time efficiently.
• Reliable internet, laptop, and quiet work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in nursing, pre-med, medical assistant programs, or healthcare certifications.
• Previous remote/telehealth medical scribe experience.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and US healthcare compliance.
