Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Content Management
  • Schedule pre-approved social media posts (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Manage content libraries and pull from compliance-approved marketing materials.
  • Maintain a consistent posting calendar based on upcoming tax-season initiatives.
  • Facebook Ads Support
  • Assist in creating basic ad creatives for Facebook campaigns.
  • Prepare ad drafts for compliance approval.
  • Coordinate posting after approval.
  • Marketing Coordination
  • Organize and track content ideas, campaigns, and engagement.
  • Suggest opportunities for improved visibility and traffic.
  • Create simple graphics or visuals for ads/posts (if capable).
  • Administrative Support (Optional / As Available)
  • Light inbox management or email sorting during slow marketing periods.
  • Simple data entry or organizing information if hours need to be balanced.

Tools & Platforms

  • Experience with the following is ideal:
  • Facebook & Instagram (posting + ads manager)
  • Canva or similar simple design tools
  • Any social media scheduler
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail)
  • (Client handles all financial data, tax files, and sensitive client info personally.)

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience in social media marketing
  • Ability to create simple Facebook ad creatives
  • Strong English communication (written)
  • Familiarity with digital marketing best practices
  • Ability to work independently and meet posting deadlines
  • Comfortable working with PST time zone

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience running paid ads
  • Basic copywriting skills
  • Familiarity with U.S. tax season promotional cycles (not required)
