We create practical, engaging content that helps owners build better relationships with their dogs—and we care more about content that converts than vanity metrics.

The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful Social Media Manager who can quickly learn our brand voice and take initiative after onboarding. You’ll own day-to-day social execution—especially across Meta (Facebook & Instagram)—and help us turn attention into action (course enrollments, webinar sign-ups, and member retention).
Note: This role is separate from our Admin/Customer Support VA. Your focus is content & growth.

What You’ll Do
Plan & Publish
○ Build monthly content calendars for Facebook & Instagram using proven hooks and clear CTAs.
○ Schedule posts/reels/stories in Meta Business Suite; maintain consistent cadence.

Create & Edit
○ Draft on-brand copy, captions, and lightweight creative (reels, stories, carousels, thumbnails).
○ Repurpose long-form content into short, high-impact snippets.

Engage & Grow
○ Monitor comments/DMs for social-specific questions; escalate support issues to the admin team.
○ Run simple experiments (formats, hooks, posting times) and double down on winners.

Optimize for Conversion
○ Partner with us on funnel-aligned content for launches, webinars, and promos.
○ Track and report weekly KPIs (reach, saves, CTR, click-to-signup, assisted conversions).

Retention Touchpoints (Nice-to-Have)
○ Light, personalized outreach (DMs or brief voice notes) to check in with inactive members.

Channel Expansion (Nice-to-Have)
○ Support Pinterest pinning/workflows and basic YouTube short-form editing & upload ops.

Must-Haves

  • 2–4+ years managing Facebook & Instagram for a direct-to-consumer brand (portfolio required).
  • Content writing chops: strong hooks, scannable structure, and clear CTAs.
  • Comfortable editing short-form video for reels/stories (CapCut, VN, or similar).
  • Data-curious: you track results and propose experiments based on performance.
  • Self-starter who needs minimal handholding once goals and guardrails are clear.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools/workflows.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Pinterest and/or YouTube workflows.
  • Comfort sending friendly voice notes for member retention check-ins.
  • Familiarity with course/membership ecosystems (e.g., Kajabi/New Zenler) and email tools (e.g., ConvertKit/Kit).
  • Pet/dog-training interest—or the ability to write empathetically for pet owners.
