Job Overview
Purpose of the role
The candidate for this role will be responsible to manage, administer, and oversee contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, minimizing risks, and supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
• Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
• Monitor contract performance, obligations, and deliverables to ensure adherence to agreed terms.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks.
• Manage contract variations, amendments, and claims in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Support procurement processes, including tender preparation, evaluation, and contract award.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers on contractual matters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
• Provide advice on contractual rights, obligations, and dispute resolution.
• Assist in resolving contractual disputes and managing claims effectively.
• Prepare reports on contract status, risks, and performance.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in contract management within engineering, construction, or related industries
• Experience in handling FIDIC or similar contract frameworks is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of contract management principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in contracts
