Role Summary:
Managed services is the practice of outsourcing the responsibility for maintaining, and anticipating need for, a range of processes and functions to improve operations and reduce expenses. As the Payroll Specialist you are responsible for the smooth running of recruitment processes and the contractor population.
Responsibilities:
Managing the contractor lifecycle, including; IR35 determinations, contracts, setting up timesheets and invoicing profiles on Vincere/Timetemp.
Reviewing contractors, ensuring any extensions, changes in agreements or end of contracts are
handled.
Liasing with the Client’s HR team, providing necessary information about contractors for them to be
set up on their HR system for IT/system requests and future reporting
Collating timesheet and contractor data to send to our accounts team for payments, as per agreed
payment schedule.
Sending contractor invoices/payment breakdowns.
Liasing with relevant Umbrella companies or Agencies to ensure Contractors are set-up, invoiced and
paid accordingly.
Looking after PO needs for both contract and permanent roles, requesting further PO’s where
needed to ensure we can bill Client correctly.
Collating and sending monthly bordereau’s to our insurers for all Outside IR35 contractor
engagements.
Liaising with Client’s accounts team to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolving any
problems that may arise.
Chasing outstanding or overdue invoices from the Client.
Auditing usage of Agencies, to assist in creating PSL for Client and Talent Partners.
Assisting Talent Partners in admin or advertising of roles on Teamtailor and Linkedin.
Regular process reviews to improve efficiency
Ensure high quality, up-to-date documentation exists for all service arrangements.
Follow up on and take responsibility for unresolved issues or escalations.
Building effective relationships internally and externally at a variety of levels
Who you are
