Systems Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re hiring a Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team and help maintain and evolve Broadvoice’s global infrastructure. You’ll work across colocation datacenters, client-premises environments, and AWS regions to ensure our systems are secure, stable, and scalable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and troubleshoot systems and networks across 5 colocation datacenters, 4 client-premises sites, and 5 AWS regions.
• Perform upgrades, patching, backups, and configuration management.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis in collaboration with the NOC and Tenets teams.
• Implement infrastructure tooling and monitoring improvements.
• Document procedures and contribute to operational playbooks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux administration and networking skills.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of monitoring and alerting systems.
