Cybersecurity Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re hiring a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support our growing security initiatives at Broadvoice. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to contribute to our roadmap and certification efforts. You’ll work closely with the ISO and other teams to help protect our infrastructure and data across global environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls across systems and networks.
• Monitor alerts and logs for suspicious activity and escalate incidents as needed.
• Support vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
• Help prepare documentation for audits, certifications, and compliance efforts.
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives and internal training.
• Maintain and update asset inventories and access control records.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical role.
• Basic understanding of security principles, threat vectors, and risk management.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with security tools (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, SIEM platforms).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of SIP/VoIP systems is a plus.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, or equivalent are a bonus.
