The Principal, Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of complex, multi‑workstream programs for strategic enterprise clients. This role owns program execution, ongoing client relationships, and operational delivery of contracted products and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives, contractual commitments, and quality standards.

The Principal PM operates in a highly matrixed organization, partnering closely with account teams, product, technology, analytics, and delivery functions to drive outcomes for clients. Acting as the central point of accountability, the role ensures programs in assigned operating unit are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while identifying opportunities for program optimization and account growth. This role provides strategic leadership to cross-functional teams, translates client requirements into executable plans, and maintains strong executive-level client relationships to ensure sustained satisfaction and long-term value.

The Principal, Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of complex, multi‑workstream programs for strategic enterprise clients. This role owns program execution, ongoing client relationships, and operational delivery of contracted products and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives, contractual commitments, and quality standards.

This role provides strategic leadership to cross-functional teams, translates client requirements into executable plans, and maintains strong executive-level client relationships to ensure sustained satisfaction and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, ensuring clear communication and alignment between clients, account teams, product management, and fulfillment teams.

    Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver data, analytics, technology, and consulting solutions in accordance with contractual requirements, program plans, and agreed milestones.

    Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans covering scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, resource allocation, risks, and stakeholder communications.

    Act as a subject matter expert on company products and services, including how solutions integrate with client systems and processes.

    Support and, when required, contribute hands-on to solution customization, implementation support, client training, and troubleshooting to ensure successful delivery.

    Drive or support proposal development activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, workflow design, and Statement of Work (SOW) development.

    Conduct regular program and service reviews with clients to communicate performance, track KPIs, resolve issues, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

    Ensure financial discipline within programs by balancing client pricing, resource utilization, internal costs, and revenue recognition requirements.

    Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact delivery, quality, or client satisfaction.

    Establish and apply program management standards, methodologies, and best practices to drive consistency and operational excellence across assigned programs.

    Track, analyze, and report program performance metrics, providing insights to internal stakeholders and client leadership as appropriate.

Skills Needed:

    • Where applicable to assigned operating unit, Security Clearance (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) is required.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • At least 12 years relevant experience in program or project management, preferably in managing corresponding assigned operating unit.

    • Proven experience managing large, complex programs with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

    • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments.

    • PMP or equivalent project/program management certification is required.

    • Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

    • Ability to manage high-complexity programs with multiple dependencies.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including engagement with senior client and internal leaders.

    • Solid understanding of data, analytics, and technology-enabled solutions.

    • Experience gathering requirements, translating them into actionable plans, and working closely with analytics, engineering, and delivery teams.

    • Ability to work standard business hours with flexibility as required by business needs.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills.
