HR Assistant

Job Overview

We are looking for an HR Assistant to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This is a contract role with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process

  • Administration of employees contracts.

  • Help to ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

  • Prepare documents and reports for governmental audits and SMETA audits.

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

  • Assist to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy in close cooperation with the Management

Qualifications required

  • Willing to move to Kisemvule/Mkuranga or near by.

  • Proven working experience as HR Assistant or other HR related position

  • People oriented and results driven.

  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources management (Contract preparation and administration.

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.

  • Knowledge of Payroll systems.

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

  • Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
