As an Account Manager, you own and grow customer relationships by delivering consistent service excellence and aligning customer needs with Expeditors’ global network. You serve as the primary contact for your accounts, driving retention, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring strong operational and commercial alignment.

  • Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for customer outcomes, revenue targets, and service excellence.
  • Build and lead a team of Global Account Managers with deep customer knowledge and strategic planning skills.
  • Ensure teams are aligned with customer goals, proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand services.
  • Lead efforts to generate new revenue, diversify existing streams, and retain business through thoughtful engagement.
  • Personally manage one strategic global account to stay connected to customer needs and model leadership behaviors.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align account strategies with company goals.
  • Champion the Expeditors experience by delivering our value proposition and reinforcing service, integrity, and operational excellence.
  • Support regional and global initiatives that drive strategic growth.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, one-on-ones, and annual performance reviews, fostering a culture of mentorship and continuous development.
