The team and remit

You’ll join the Vendor Management and Procurement team, which ensures sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and contracts deliver maximum value and meet high commercial and regulatory standards. The function covers global sourcing, vendor management, and outsourcing in line with industry best practice and regulatory expectations.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will lead and support both tactical and strategic procurement processes (RFQ, RFI, RFP) for indirect categories on a global scale. You’ll work closely with Legal, technical stakeholders, and business owners to negotiate and manage commercial terms, ensuring savings and value delivery against agreed targets.

What you’ll do

  • Lead sourcing and category management activity across indirect and professional services categories (e.g. HR, Legal, Payroll, Recruitment, Finance, Operations, Market Data, Payment Solutions) and Marketing.

  • Identify, deliver, and track savings opportunities, consistently contributing to and exceeding agreed targets and pipelines.

  • Act as a subject matter expert to stakeholders, guiding negotiation strategy, commercial options, and contract structuring.

  • Coordinate activities and information flow across Procurement leadership and coordination roles.

  • Review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts globally to secure optimal commercial, service, and risk outcomes.

  • Meet and exceed KPIs, SLAs, and performance expectations, while continuously looking for further optimisation opportunities.

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience in indirect sourcing and category management (non-tech), including professional services and marketing, at global, regional, and local level.

  • Proven track record of complex commercial negotiations that deliver savings, value-added services, and sustainable benefits.

  • Experience building commercial capability and mindset across business units, including sharing best practice.

  • Deep expertise in indirect category models and marketing delivery structures (centralised/decentralised, internal/outsourced, MarTech, SaaS solutions).

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex procurement topics for a broad audience.
