About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to help establish and drive the financial operations for our UAE business. This is a hands-on role that combines financial management with day-to-day accounting responsibility. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and discipline across all financial activities, while also supporting budgeting, reporting, and decision-making. You will operate across both strategic and executional finance, taking full ownership of the function in a lean and fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own financial reporting for the UAE business, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with leadership.
- Track performance against budgets and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Manage day-to-day accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Prepare and file all required tax returns (including VAT and corporate tax), ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all local financial, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital across the business.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and advisors where required.
- Establish and maintain financial controls, systems, and processes.
- Support deal teams with financial analysis and underwriting where needed.
- Drive cost discipline and ensure efficient use of capital.
Background & Experience
- 6–10+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong technical accounting foundation.
- Experience managing full set of books and financials records.
- Experience with tax filings and regulatory compliance (VAT and corporate tax).
- Experience in real estate, hospitality, or asset-heavy businesses is preferred.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Comfortable operating in lean environments with full ownership of the finance function.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capability.
