Job Title: Part Time Inventory Manager

Part time: minimum of 16 hours a week maximum 32 hours a week (2-4 days per week)

Duration: 6 + months

Location: Framingham, MA


Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory control, shipping, and receiving operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate stock management, timely order fulfillment, and efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in warehouse management, and a proven ability to streamline processes while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

Develop and maintain accurate inventory control processes to ensure proper stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and improve accuracy.

Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.

Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and efficiency.

Maintain warehouse organization, including proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials.

Implement and enforce safety standards, OSHA compliance, and company policies within the warehouse.

Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to forecast demand and ensure stock availability.

Manage relationships with freight carriers and vendors, negotiating rates and ensuring timely deliveries.

Monitor KPIs related to shipping accuracy, turnaround times, and inventory accuracy; recommend improvements as needed.

Oversee warehouse equipment, ensuring regular inspections and coordinating maintenance or repairs.

Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.


Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management; leadership experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving processes, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.

Understanding how inventory is tracked through ERP/CRM

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Ability to lift up to [35 lbs] and work in a warehouse environment as needed.
