Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer - Azure (IGT1 Lanka: Sitecore)

About the role:

Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world.  To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we’re looking for a skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer with a solid background in Computer Science, with CMS knowledge and Cloud administration experience, to join our Managed Services team.

Key responsibilities:

• Provision, support and maintain our customer's cloud and on-premise environments and Sitecore products
• Implement and maintain tools for monitoring and operations
• Implement and maintain tools for logging and reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in non-production and production environments
• Respond to service disruptions while maintaining SLA uptime
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation along with our other engineers. Will need to carry laptop when on-call and have internet and phone access
• Proactive monitoring to ensure that issues are being identified and addressed in real-time
• Implement and maintain the highest level of security standard and ensure client data integrity
• Collaborate with customers and engineering for new release planning
• Develop and maintain documentation on operational procedures
• Automate and streamline production operations and processes (PowerShell/MS runbook)
• Execute scheduled maintenance and optimization services
• Assist in infrastructure design, estimating, and communicating with clients and prospects
