ROLE SUMMARY

The Associate FDE is the entry point into Kore.ai's Forward Deployed Engineering team. Working under the guidance of Senior FDEs and Engagement Leads, the Associate FDE supports the delivery of conversational AI solutions on the XO Platform. This role is ideal for engineers transitioning into customer-facing AI delivery roles who have foundational knowledge of NLP, agent development, or LLM-based applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•           Support the design and configuration of dialog tasks, flows, and prompts on the Kore.ai XO Platform under senior guidance

•           Assist in documenting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), solution designs, and flow diagrams

•           Participate in customer discovery sessions, requirement walkthroughs, and sprint demos

•           Configure and test Prompt Nodes, Agent Nodes, and LLM integrations in XO Platform v11+

•           Efficient in drafting highly optimized LLM prompts 

•           Execute test cases for conversational flows, validate LLM training data, and assist QA cycles

•           Maintain deployment checklists, runbooks, and technical handover notes for SI partners

•           Contribute to internal knowledge base with findings from live deployments

MUST-HAVE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

•           2+ years of experience in AI agent development, or software engineering

•           Hands-on familiarity with at least one conversational AI platform (Kore.ai, Dialogflow, Rasa, etc.)

•           Basic knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and webhook-based integrations

•           Understanding of intent classification, entity extraction, and NLP fundamentals

•           Strong written communication skills for documentation and stakeholder updates

•           Ability to work in agile delivery environments with short iteration cycles

NICE-TO-HAVE

•           Kore.ai XO Platform certification or prior exposure

•           Experience with prompt engineering for GPT/Claude/Gemini models

KORE.AI PLATFORM CONTEXT

•           Configure and test Dialog Tasks and Flows on XO Platform

•           Learn and apply LLM-based Prompt Node and Agent Node configuration patterns

•           Participate in testing voice agent flows for Fixed Deposit, Recurring Deposit, and collections use cases

•           Use Kore.ai analytics and debug tools to trace LLM failures and log issues

 SUCCESS METRICS

•           Delivery of assigned agent components on time with < 5% rework rate

•           Successful completion of Kore.ai certification within 3 months of joining

•           Positive feedback from Senior FDE and Engagement Lead on quality of work

•           Zero critical post-UAT defects attributable to assigned components
