ROLE SUMMARY
The FDE is an independent contributor embedded with customer project teams to own end-to-end delivery of conversational AI experiences on the Kore.ai XO Platform. This role bridges technical implementation with business outcomes translating customer requirements into production-grade agent configurations, LLM powered flows, and integrated voice/chat experiences. FDEs are Kore.ai's primary hands-on delivery engineers in the field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own end-to-end development of conversational AI solutions including dialog flows, LLM node configurations, and API integrations
• Translate BRDs and use case specifications into functional XO Platform implementations
• Design and implement LLM-powered Prompt Nodes, Agent Nodes, and contextual memory patterns
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning of agent flows
• Directly engage with customer technical teams during sprint reviews, UAT cycles, and production support
• Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design documents, test plans, and runbooks
• Mentor Associate FDEs and provide technical guidance on delivery best practices
• Identify reusable components and contribute to Kore.ai's internal delivery playbook
MUST-HAVE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of experience in conversational AI platform delivery or software engineering
• Proficiency in Kore.ai XO Platform or equivalent enterprise-grade conversational AI platform
• Strong experience with REST API integrations, JSON payloads, and webhook configuration
• Hands-on experience with LLM prompt engineering and GenAI application development
• Working knowledge of voice agent architecture including IVR integrations and telephony concepts
• Ability to independently manage delivery tasks across multiple customer workstreams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging complex agent behaviors
NICE-TO-HAVE
• Experience in fine tunning commercial and hosted LLM models
• Exposure to Kore.ai Agent AI or Search AI modules
• Knowledge of enterprise integration middleware (MuleSoft, Azure APIM, etc.)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for agent deployment and version management
KORE.AI PLATFORM CONTEXT
• Deliver complete conversational flows on XO Platform v11 using LLM orchestration patterns
• Implement and tune Prompt Nodes, Agent Nodes, and tool-calling integrations
• Build and test voice agent flows for banking products (FD, RD, Collections) using Kore.ai Voice Gateway
• Configure and optimize LLM models, experience flows, intent hierarchies, and entity recognition pipelines
• Work with Kore.ai Analytics to measure containment, deflection, and intent accuracy
SUCCESS METRICS
• Successful delivery of assigned project modules within agreed sprint timelines
• LLM accuracy > 90% on trained agents sets in UAT
• Customer satisfaction score (CSAT) > 4/5 for delivery sprints
• Zero critical production issues in first 30 days post go-live for owned components
