We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team in Gaborone, Botswana. As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's housekeeping and laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

  • Manage and coordinate all guest and employee calls to the Housekeeping and Laundry/Valet offices
  • Ensure prompt and professional handling of guest requests, keeping the Guest Service Center informed of progress
  • Interact professionally with the Guest Service Center to resolve guest issues
  • Coordinate with colleagues across departments to address guest concerns efficiently
  • Handle VIP and Special Service requests with utmost care and attention
  • Maintain accurate records of lost and found items and oversee related processes
  • Support shift management by entering relevant updates, rosters, and overtime information into the system
  • Report sickness and absences to the People & Culture department immediately
  • Implement and maintain housekeeping best practices and standards
  • Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff to maintain high-performance levels
