Garderner-Fixed term Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Gardener for a fixed-term contract position in Gaborone, Botswana. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain vibrant and well-kept throughout the year.

• Plan and execute landscaping projects, including planting, pruning, and maintaining a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs
• Mow lawns, trim hedges, and remove weeds to keep garden areas neat and tidy
• Implement and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of all plant life
• Monitor and treat plants for pests and diseases using appropriate methods
• Perform basic maintenance on gardening tools and equipment
• Assist in the design and creation of new garden features, such as flower beds or small structures
• Adapt gardening techniques to suit the local climate and soil conditions of Gaborone
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively about garden maintenance needs and progress
