Chief Accountant - Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel (Pre-Opening Team)

As Chief Accountant, you'll be essential to building the hotel's financial integrity and systems ahead of opening. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll:

• Lead the design and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, tax, general ledger, and month-end close.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow), ensuring compliance with IFRS, Lao GAAP, and Minor Hotels standards.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, partnering with department heads for financial planning.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to prepare audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
• Train and supervise accounting staff, defining KPIs and driving continuous process improvements.
• Support the revenue management team by providing financial insights and managing revenue recognition processes.
