The role involves assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in recipes, and contributing to an efficient and professional kitchen environment.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Thai cuisine according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure authenticity of Thai flavors, ingredients, and presentation techniques.
- Prepare mise en place for daily service.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and plating standards.
- Support live cooking stations or specialty outlets when required.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and senior culinary leaders.
- Support smooth kitchen operations during service periods.
- Assist with inventory control and stock management.
- Minimize food wastage and control costs.
