Café Attendant

Oaks Gold Coast Calypso Plaza Suites are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Café Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.

Two of our Gold Coast properties are launching a new café experience for hotel guests to enjoy barista coffee and grab-and-go treats. This role is ideal for someone with café experience who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and serving high-quality food and beverages. You’ll work alongside a barista to serve toasties, croissants, and hot and cold drinks to guests.

As a valued team member, you’ll play a key role in creating enjoyable guest experiences by:

• Preparing and serving food & beverages: Toasties, croissants, and drinks efficiently and professionally.
• Assisting with cafe operations: Working alongside the barista to maintain a smooth and clean workflow.
• Delivering exceptional customer service: Engaging warmly with guests and responding to their needs.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• 5am until 2pm and 7am until 2pm, subject to change
• Multiple casual positions available
• Dual role as a barista and café attendant
• On occasions, you may be required to support both properties
