About the role
The Sleep Lab Coordinator supervises all Sleep Lab duties. Schedules and monitors sleep disorder testing. Scores and evaluates polysomnograms. Employee performs routine maintenance of Sleep Lab equipment. Primary contact providing providers, patients and HIM with diagnostic information and consultation regarding all aspects of sleep disorders.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduation from a Respiratory Care program which has been accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Respiratory care Education or Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnograph Technologists or able to obtain within one year of service.
- Has knowledge relative to the age of the patients serviced
Salary is commensurate with up to 15 years experience.
