Director of Entertainment
Job Overview
The Director of Entertainment is in charge of creating, curating, and delivering world class entertainment and lifestyle events that enhance the property's brand and guest experience. This leadership position creates high-end entertainment programming that incorporate culinary concepts, mixology events, cultural themes, and unique F&B activations to create memorable, immersive experiences throughout the property. The Director is in charge of the entertainment strategy, talent teams, external partners, and production standards to ensure that everything runs smoothly and meets luxury expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and deliver an entertainment vision that complements the hotel's luxury positioning with a focus on sophistication, exclusivity and guest personalization.
- Create integrated entertainment and food and beverage activation calendars that include chef-led culinary events, wine and spirits tastings, mixology experiences, themed dining nights, and pairing-focused live performances.
- Introduce premium leisure concepts like sunset rituals, cultural experiences, wellness connections and seasonal unique events.
- Oversee the development and execution of all luxury entertainment programs in bars, lounges, restaurants, pool areas and event venues.
- Ensure that all activations match luxury standards for atmosphere, staging, audiovisual quality, service flow and guest involvement.
- Manage technical production requirements to provide consistent, high impact experiences.
- Collaborate with and contract premium external talent such as musicians, specialized performances and curated entertainment partners.
- Operate and troubleshoot professional DJ equipment such as mixers, decks, controllers, and PA systems.
- Ensure that all entertainment touchpoints comply with the premium service standards of attention to detail, individuality, environment and emotional connection.
- Collaborate with F&B, Rooms Division, Marketing, Spa/Wellness and Events to provide cohesive cross-departmental experiences.
- Ensure that all entertainment follows to brand guidelines and promotes the property's luxury image.
- Create and manage the entertainment budget, which may include talent fees, staging, technical requirements and special food and beverage collaborative events.
- Maintain compliance with entertainment licensing, safety requirements, and brand standards.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:
- Proven experience curating upscale guest experiences and managing creative teams.
- 5–10+ years of experience in luxury entertainment, lifestyle event programming and marketing, and/or coordination of high-end F&B activations.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a DJ, including the ability to operate and troubleshoot professional DJ equipment such as mixers, decks, controllers, and PA systems
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate persuasively and close contracts.
- Ability to make sound decisions.
- Ability to manage a high volume of requests especially during peak season and respond promptly to all inquiries.
- Ability to seek new and innovative techniques to improve miscellaneous revenues.
- This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $115,000 per annum. This job is also eligible for annual bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, pension, free meal at our cafeteria and many other benefits to eligible employees.
