Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solution architectures for digital commerce and BSS integration projects.
Partner with business stakeholders, clients, and pre-sales teams to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
Support pre-sales engineering activities, including client engagement, solution proposals, and technical presentations.
Architect and deliver B2B commerce and digital marketplace solutions, including buyer-seller management, tiered pricing, account hierarchies, and bulk ordering.
Oversee marketplace operations, vendor portals, catalog syndication, and integration with BSS systems.
Provide subject matter expertise across BSS domains such as CRM, mediation, billing, order management, and product catalog.
Drive API integration and cloud-based solution development (Azure, Open Telekom Cloud) with CI/CD best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project for project tracking and delivery.
Develop solution artifacts, including architecture diagrams, data flows, and wireframes, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
Conduct code reviews, define/manage test data sets, and provide technical leadership to project teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Project Management and Solution Architecture.
Fluency in English and German (written and verbal).
Proven experience in pre-sales engineering, client engagement, and proposal support.
Strong track record of delivering web commerce solutions integrated with BSS.
Subject Matter Expertise in B2B commerce and digital marketplaces, including:
Buyer-seller management, tiered pricing, account hierarchies, bulk ordering.
Marketplace operations, vendor portals, and catalog syndication.
In-depth understanding of BSS domains: CRM, mediation, billing, order management, and product catalog.
Experience with API integration, cloud platforms (Azure, Open Telekom Cloud), and CI/CD practices.
Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and enterprise architecture tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA).
Ability to perform code reviews, manage test data sets, and create wireframes.
Nice to Have
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
Experience working in telecommunications or large-scale digital transformation projects.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and scaled frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
