As an Associate Product Manager (APM) at WorkSpan, you will help drive execution across our applications and platform, spanning integrations, extensibility, and end-to-end application workflows. You’ll work closely with product leaders, design, and engineering to ship high‑quality features, and with field teams to ensure we are solving the right problems for our customers.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their product career who is passionate about building great products, enjoys collaborating across functions, and wants to learn how to build and scale enterprise B2B AI and SaaS.
Key Responsibilities:
As Associate Product Manager you will
- Be responsible for driving WorkSpan’s application and platform innovations around integrations, core application workflows, and end-to-end user journeys.
- Ensure competitive differentiation in our core product areas.
- Collaborate with engineering to deliver product experiences that delight users and drive business outcomes.
- Be passionate about building a winning product, be driven to make customers successful, and be resourceful to thrive in a startup environment.
- Demonstrate a strong bias toward action and iterate quickly to deliver the optimal product.
What You’ll Do (Primary Responsibilities) - Work closely with the product leadership and management team to identify target segments, customer problems to solve, and differentiated value propositions.
- Collaborate effectively with design, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to define, build, and launch product capabilities.
- Lead product initiatives (with guidance from senior PMs) to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of features to market.
- Engage with customers and with customer‑facing teams (Sales, CS, PS, Support) to understand pain points, validate solutions, and enable them to successfully market and sell the product.
- Participate in user research and usability testing to refine concepts, validate hypotheses, and inform product decisions.
- Use data to inform prioritization and trade‑offs, including defining and tracking key product metrics and using insights to improve outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience working on a AI/SaaS offering, preferably with Enterprise CRM or ERP products (product, design, engineering, consulting, or closely related roles).
- 0–1 years of Product Manager experience (internships, APM programs, or prior PM roles are a strong plus).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable working with data to make decisions and communicate trade‑offs.
- Design sensibility and familiarity with tools such as Figma, or similar.
- Exposure to Sales, Marketing, and Alliances/Partnerships functions, ideally in a B2B context.
- Technical and Business education (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related fields) or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
- High ownership mindset, willingness to learn, and comfort operating in a fast‑paced, evolving startup environment.
